Information Collection and Use

Touch of Happiness collects personal information when you use the contact form on this website and when you get in touch directly via email. When you use the contact form we ask for information such as your name and email address. We use this information to respond to your enquiries and to add you to our mailing list.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses. Touch of Happiness does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or companies.

Occasionally details of the content of your session(s) will be discussed in my ongoing Professional Supervision sessions. Your identity remains, always, anonymous. No names or identifying features are shared or disclosed with my Supervisor. If you have a specific request that I do not share details of the content of your session(s) with my Supervisor you can tell me and this request will be adhered to.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment on the website, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
